Barton Hill Settlement Consultation

SGSU was invited by community centre Barton Hill Settlement to gather feedback from local residents on what the centre offered, or could offer, during their Community Canvassing Week in 2018. 

We worked with UWE researcher Emma Griffin to initiate some simple but engaging activities at key active locations in the Lawrence Hill area - a footpath crossroads next to a playground and by a main bus stop. 

We made a fabric map as a banner of the local area which residents were invited to pin their ideas and comments to, as well as our giant heart and cross for loves and hates and stickers for a sliding scale response to specific questions from Barton Hill Settlement. 

Data was fed back to the settlement to inform their plans for the next year.
