Exploring automated architecture with KWMC / AUAR
exhibitions
Making Together is a new collaborative project between Mollie Claypool and her team from Automated Architecture (AUAR) and Knowle West Media Centre (KWMC), funded by the South West Creative Technology Network (SWCTN).
I was invited to be a participant on this project, exploring a Beta version of AUAR's new app testing virtual robotics and automated architecture with fellow 'tradespeople' as we designed and built our own units, culminating in a virtual showcase with our sculptures and structures created through the app.
My piece explored alternative public seating and sculpture, creating a pavilion-like virtual sculpture and series of designs for benches which could be assembled by the virtual robotic arm.
