Interiors project for Bristol-based terrarium shop Ome

'A terrarium is beautiful in itself; every time you look you discover something new; it changes and grows over time; it combines nature, art and science and is universally appreciated.'
Joe, Ome founder

Ome commissioned a bespoke interior scheme for their shop front on Bristol's Old Market. The brief was to consolidate storage whilst preventing a dangerous trip hazard on the shop's sloping entrance way. Jack Stiling (of Stiling's Workshop) and I designed bespoke furniture to create a structure within the space, joining two shelving units with a mesh wall and overhead beams to hang plants and products on. Ome wanted to keep existing furniture and display units, so wiggly stained wood CNC plywood pieces were used to attach to the units to unify them and reflect the mossy shapes in the terrariums.
