Playing Out - Building Blocks

I was invited by Playing Out in Bristol to help reignite the use of a green space on a social housing development in collaboration with local residents. 

Collaborating with architect George Lovesmith we facilitated weekly creative play sessions on the green, bringing interesting and reinterpret-able objects and play equipment into the space and enabling the children and their parents to take ownership of them and the space itself.

We held creative reimagining sessions with the children and their families to encourage them to design their own visions for what the green space could look like using collage and paper cut outs. The collages produced by the children were developed into designs for a mural, which was installed in the under pass of Spencer House.
