Mild steel offcuts, construction waste
A metal apron made using waste from the construction site and mild steel offcuts. This apron is an ode to the invisible labour of women who shaped and continue to shape East Bristol’s history, industry, and community. It was made on a course led by WTF (Women Teaching Fabrication), a local metal workshop.
Created as a temporary artwork as part of Charting Change, a two year public art programme for the University of Bristol's new Temple Quarter Enterprise Campus.
